Bowers: The Vegan Ginger Beast DOCUMENTARY

Joe Bowers is a father, plumber, owner of Bowers Plumbing based out of here in Pierce County ,WA. Throughout his entire life, Joe has faced serious adversity with addiction, nutrition, physical, and mental health. At one point he was drinking ½ gallon of liquor per day. Joe realized that if he did not change his life for the better, his life will continue spiraling upside down and negatively impact his family, his self, and all his loved ones around him. After watching The Game Changers Documentary, Joe was mindblown. Learning about the countless vegan athletes both today and early civilization. How transitioning into a vegan lifestyle didn’t make them weaker or sicker – instead they became stronger, faster, healthier and developed a lifestyle beyond their imagination.

Joe took the challenge and decided he was ready for change. Joe reached out to Dr. Michelle Marconi and embarked on their journey for weight loss, health, and becoming the Vegan Ginger Beast. Joe is currently 10 months sober from no alcohol, 2 months vegan feeling much more energy. Our goal is to capture the next 12 months and get him into the best shape of his life. We will be monitoring his bloodwork, his health and physical progress. We will follow his story, the good and the bad.

Mission

Our mission is to educate and bring awareness to the life changing benefits of adopting a vegan lifestyle. Our objective with this documentary is to inspire each other, our loved ones, our local community and maybe the entire world! – into believing that they too can overcome their addictions, decide to step out of their comfort zone and go plant-based – for their health, the planet, and compassion for all sentient beings.

We want to capture the journey, the good and bad, of a man who doesn’t look like your typical vegan making the commitment to embolden his life with a plant based diet. We want to show the world there is no “typical vegan” and that the more people learn about the benefits and believe in themselves, their lives can potentially change forever.

Boss Mama’s Kitchen is a food truck that offers burgers and sandwiches. Not a vegan truck BUT they make vegan food. We created a commercial for her while Joe was there eating the vegan sandwich.

Tummy Temple | Lacey, WA
Tummy Temple is a Naturopathic clinic that offers colonics/colon hydrotherapy. Joe and I got our colonic done there (yup we recorded it all!) and the Naturopathic doctor was able to talk about the treatments they do at their facility.
